No doubt when David was run out of Jerusalem by his very own son Absalom. Absalom received the worst of it; though, and was caught up into a tree by his hair, then killed by David\u2019s men. The whole dire account had saddened David to his soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Often in scripture we find David pleading his complaint and troubles. Yet, in the end his mighty faith in God comes shining forth. <em>(\u201c\u2026hope thou in God:\u2026\u201d)<\/em> Giving God the glory, praise and thanksgiving. Declaring God is the lifter up of mine head and the artisan of my whole being. He is my God. The one adored, obeyed, worshipped, sought for, and whom I stand in awe of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Let us also, like David, yield the peaceable fruits of righteousness and a strong sound faith with charity and patience. <em>(\u201cAnd this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. <strong>Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, <\/strong>unto the glory and praise of God.\u201d Phil. 1:9-11)<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cWhy art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.\u201d Psalm 42:11 There are times, as David had, when our souls will be despondent, overwhelmed, and troubled.
