\u201cWhat? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price<\/strong>: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I Corinthians 6:19-20<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

We as saints ought not to be desiring or aspiring to gain for self, which tends to the flesh and not to the Spirit of Christ. (\u201cFor ye are bought with a price<\/strong>: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.\u201d I Cor. 6:20)<\/em> Remembering the One who suffered, died for our great sin debt, rising for our justification and victory in Him. Giving us in our hearts the earnest of the Holy Spirit (II Cor. 1:22)<\/em> and making us an holy temple. So, we may serve the Lord Christ our Saviour in reverence and godly fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 We ought to be as Job eschewing (to shun or avoid) evil and sin. (\u201cThere was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job<\/strong>; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.<\/strong>\u201d Job 1:1)<\/em> Crying out as the Apostle Paul: (\u201cO wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord<\/strong>. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.\u201d Rom. 7:24-25)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 It simply boils down to whom do we fear, love, trust, and desire, manifested in our obedience. (\u201cKnow ye not, that to whom ye yield<\/em> yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?\u201d Rom. 6:16)<\/em> To sin is death, destruction, and ruin. Oh, how we ought to cry out to God as David, (\u201cO Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.\u201d Ps. 38:1) and (Ps. 38:18 \u201cFor I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.\u201d)<\/em> We must acknowledge: God is not a big push over, whose name is Holy, who cannot not look upon sin, and our God whom will Judge in the earth and in our lives. We must confess our vileness and sin. (I John 1:9-10)<\/em> Realizing our sin is not just a little boo, boo, but an horrible offense and terrible breach against our loving and just God and Saviour Jesus Christ. (Lord, forgive me).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 What is the key to victory in our lives? (\u201cThis I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.\u201d Gal. 5:16) (Rom. 8:13)<\/em> To walk in the Spirit means: \u201cOBEY\u201d \u201cYIELD\u201d in putting down (mortify) the flesh, denying self, and to destroy (saying \u201cNO\u201d) to our self-will (rebellious hearts). Learning to stop (at the very moment of the thought of sin, temptation) (DO NOT PONDER IT), switch or change our mind to \u201cPRAYER\u201d, seeking and asking the Lord for deliverance and strength. Reciting His Word that has been hidden in our hearts. (\u201cThy<\/strong> word<\/strong> have<\/strong> I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.\u201d Ps. 119:11)<\/em> (Prov. 16:6)<\/em> In godly fear putting down that temptation (fleshly desire) and awful sin (weight) that so often has easily beset us. Looking unto Christ our Deliverer and Our Strength. (\u201cLooking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;\u2026\u201d) (Heb. 12:1-2)<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
