“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” II Tim. 2:15
This writer makes a humble attempt to bring to thy mind words of edification, admonishment, and of reckoning in the Words of faith and Spirit. It would behoove us all to take the time to meditate, contemplate, and examine our hearts and the lives we daily live. Repenting to the changing of areas in our lives to be right according to His Word which dwelleth in the true saint. Having a much greater weight of glory and to the acknowledging of the truth. The goal of these Devotional Bible Studies is that the reader may ever increase in the grace and knowledge of our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (II Peter 3:18). For the wisdom of this world is but foolishness to the Almighty which dwelleth among the Cherubims, ruling in the kingdoms of men. Let us, therefore, learn of Him: by partaking of His Divine and eternal Word; by allowing His Divine Spirit to awaken, change and comfort our souls; by feeding upon Him till we arise into that everlasting kingdom of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ; which is that everlasting Bread of Life.
“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” John 6:35
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A boy with ten siblings, a mom who was ill, the father succumbed to the temptations of the world: mom died, dad’s heart broke. The police came in their paddy wagon, loaded those children, and divided them: some to relatives, the boy and his twin to a detention home. Two years he lived with many other children and caregivers, some nice, others not. Well, in the providence of God, a young couple fostered that boy and his twin.
The boys were raised hearing the wonderful gospel of the Saviour Jesus Christ and that boy believed in Christ dying for his sins,(1 Cor. 15:1-4). He desired to know the Word of God in doctrine, to serve the Lord. The boy became a man living on his own, having little in the world’s eyes. Yet, holding faith, went searching for a Bible believing church. In God’s goodness, he found one, even walking to it, and served the Lord while there. Time passed; sadly, the man did not always stay in the will of His Lord. Yet, in the providence and care of His Lord and Saviour: in time went to a Bible Institute, Pastored churches, sings and teaches in a local Bible believing church, and has a wife of 44 years, seven children and as it stands today 14 grandchildren, with the blessings and bountiful care of his heavenly Father and Saviour Jesus Christ. As some have guessed this writer is that boy who became a man. Alan White
